A Mount Washington / Pairpoint Corp flat-end Egg Shaker with an exquisite pansy decoration. Painted in the lovely Verona style with three pansies - pink, blue and yellow - that are truly exceptional in their detail and life-like qualities.
Encased below a crystal clear overlay are sixteen swirls of dark pink, or mauve, colored glass filaments, applied to a light pink glass body. A beautiful piece of art glass that demonstrates how a skilled glassmaker can achieve a wonderful-to-behold level of uniformity. The base is ground and polished, therefore, there's no need for a stand.
