EAPG / Art Glass, Tulip Salt Shaker, Fostoria #1013, ca. 1898

  • A fantastic piece of early art glass from the Fostoria Glass Co - a large shaker with the blown shape of a tulip bud. Raised petals encircle the glass body, with alternating petals having a pink fired-on coloring. A light green fired-on wash above the petals adds just the right amount of color to suggest a tulip blossom. Topped off with what should be the original lid, this shaker is a must-have for any collection! (ref: Lechner book II, pg 90)

Click HERE for detailed product info.
EAPG Opaque Opalware Bow and Tassel Shaker, Eagle Glass W.Va. ca 1899-1901

  • Blown-out designs of Bows, with dangling tasseled ends, on each shaker side with an overall pattern of random bumps, dips and ridges. One of Eagle Glass' not-so-gaudy designs, it has great eye appeal due to the interesting pattern, without it being too 'busy'. The nice details of the corded rope and the individual strands of the tassels also add to its charm. (ref. Lechner bk II, pg 73)

EAPG Melonette / Bulbous Twenty-Four Rib Salt Shaker, Consolidated Lamp and Glass

  • An opaque white shaker, with a hint of opalescence, that is cute as a button! Made by Consolidated, ca 1894-1900, it has 24 raised (blown out) ribs in a vertical pattern around the spherical glass shaker body. A charming design that would make a welcome addition to any EAPG/Shaker collection! (ref: Lechner book II, pg 239 and book III, pg 44)

  • A heavy glass shaker with a pressed pattern of elongated leaves and floral stems, as well as wheel-cut decorations of two, 8-petaled flower blossoms. Made by the US Glass Company in 1916 as pattern #15167, to supply a low-cost, but quality product; this being towards the end of what is considered to be the EAPG era. (ref: McCain book, pg 260)

EAPG Rope Bands / Argent Footed Salt Shaker, US Glass ca 1891

Click HERE for detailed product info.
EAPG Rope Bands / Argent Footed Salt Shaker, US Glass ca 1891

  • A simple pattern that is explained by one of its names, 'Clear Panels with Cord Band'. The cord bands run top and bottom of the glass body, which also has four fairly thick, raised vertical ribs, evenly spaced around. This shaker is somewhat scarce, as most reference books fail to mention its inclusion in the Rope Bands pattern. (ref: McCain book, pg 440; Peterson 1-K bk, pg 170-P)

EAPG Blown Clear Glass Cube Shaped Salt Shaker

Click HERE for detailed product info.
EAPG Blown Clear Glass Cube Shaped Salt Shaker

  • A simple design, a cube shape with tapered shoulders - but - it hides a beauty within its simplicity! The glass has such crystal-clear clarity that newsprint can be easily read when viewed through TWO sides. This is actually very significant, due to the varying thickness of the glass walls of the shaker.
