Swirled Art Glass Egg-Shaped Paperweight / Novelty - Pink Mauve

Encased below a crystal clear overlay are sixteen swirls of dark pink, or mauve, colored glass filaments, applied to a light pink glass body. A beautiful piece of art glass that demonstrates how a skilled glassmaker can achieve a wonderful-to-behold level of uniformity. The base is ground and polished, therefore, there's no need for a stand.
At one time, a small round sticker was on that polished base - its outline and glue remnants are visible - but nothing that actually indicates the maker. The pinkish beauty stands 2-¼ inches tall and approx. 1-½ inches at its widest. Casual inspection reveals no damage or flaws. A magnified inspection finds a couple of tiny air bubbles and a tiny, stray piece of glass near the top (visible in detail photo).
