- The body of the shaker is opaque satinized opalware, with a fired-on rose-colored wash that darkens as it nears the top - a simulated or pseudo Burmese coloring, shown in the Lechner book (vol 2, pg 139). That abundance of small blossoms looks very similar to an image in the third volume of their books, on page 105.
- Truly a work of art! The five-petal flowers are arranged in three, large clusters that wander around the shaker, almost encircling it. The white petals are dollops of enamel and there are over 120 of them!
- The shaker measures 2-¼" tall, and approx. 2" at its widest. Only minor wear to some of the hand-done de'cor and no damage to the glass or lid. The original lid shows very little wear and tear, and screws on tightly.
