Kronheimer Antique Silverplate Toothpick / Matchstick Holder, Swirl Design

A very well-made toothpick holder, it stands 2 tall and a bit wider than that at its widest. The curved/swirled indents spaced around the body, nine of them, separate two rings of tiny serrations - one at the rim and the other at the edge of the foot or base.
The piece has a nice patina, which may be hiding original silverplate or hiding the loss of it - it's impossible to know for certain. The base definitely retains silverplate; the photo showing the Kronheimer Oldenbusch Co logo displays the shine quite well.
The only damage noted is a small hole near the rim (not sure if it is original to the making - see detail photo #2) and a few tiny dings on the bottom. Upon close inspection, small areas of under-plating 'bubbling' is evident, although there's no sign of surface corrosion.
