EAPG Melonette / Bulbous Twenty-Four Rib Salt Shaker, Consolidated Lamp and Glass

An opaque white shaker, with a hint of opalescence, that is cute as a button! Made by Consolidated, ca 1894-1900, it has 24 raised (blown out) ribs in a vertical pattern around the spherical glass shaker body. A charming design that would make a welcome addition to any EAPG/Shaker collection! (ref: Lechner book II, pg 239 and book III, pg 44)
The 2-½ inch tall shaker is approx. 2 inches at its widest and has a rough-ground rim (not polished). No sign of any damage or flaws to the glass, including underneath the metal lid. That lid does show wear consistent with age - some flat spots, dents and an aged patina to the brass.
