Antique Russian Easter Egg Candy Container, Red Velvet

The egg-shaped candy container is made of a thick pressed cardboard, covered in a red velveteen fabric, with the edges banded in a stitched gold ribbon. The interior is covered with red pages that have white outlines of chicks, bunnies, flowers and bells, with the wording, Happy Easter, in Russian.
The antique egg measures 6" long and 4" across its widest. No wear, tear or damage visible - inside or out. As a candy container, it is similar to the vintage German versions, except it is of much, much better quality and, of course, it was made in Russia.
